We transform stories into interactive audio experiences.
For The Record (FTR) transforms stories into interactive audio experiences that preserve, activate, and reimagine collective memory through sound and play.
Through public art, community archives, workshops, and audio games, we connect people to place, memory, and one another through sound.
Founded by multidisciplinary artists Margaux LeSourd and Maurice Leoni-Osion, FTR explores how sound shapes our relationship to place, how place influences memory, and how memory informs community narratives, transforming neighborhoods, landscapes, and everyday stories into living records.
Because the greatest records aren't just played—they're heard, remembered, and shared.
ABOUT
MISSION
We facilitate listening as a practice for learning, connection, and collective memory.
We envision a future where communities preserve, share, and shape collective memory, and where archives live not only in institutions, but in people, places, and everyday experiences
VISION

Listening is an act of care.
